Am I going to make my electricity charges more? (I pay for it in my utilities.)

I live in an apartment with one HVAC heat pump unit. I was gone the one day they did the stuff for this year. I’m quite certain it hasn’t been serviced for three years.

And what do the maintenance people do exactly?

I know my landlord doesn’t do this another time until at least next year and I don’t have any cash to pay someone.

My HVAC company does heat pump install Short Pump.

Got what I expected from ApplianceZone.com (via postie)

Once I finished reading the complaints I discovered on other websites, I had feelings encircling ordering from ApplianceZone.com. Fortunately, common sense kicked in and I remembered that for each vocal pissed-off customer, there are multitude of satisfied ones. I am here to say that my dealings with ApplianceZone proved that I was right - I got great service, original equipment replacements at half the expense of Sears and very fast delivery.

A couple of points before completing your order. 1) Ensure that you found the correct part numbers. Verify with a few similar sites that have the parts you need and confirm they all agree with the same part information for your model machine. 2) In advance of paying for expressed shipping, check with ApplianceZone to attest that they have all the parts for your order on hand.

Where is this water leak coming from?

Posted in Uncategorized on February 24th, 2010 by admin – 4 Comments
HoneyGirl asked:

I have a leak coming in from the corner of my kitchen ceiling when my upstairs neighbor uses her kitchen sink…. but her sink is not above my leak! I’ve called a plumber in twice and an HVAC guy as well (not including the guy who refused to look at it and the guy who swore he would be there by 6, but never showed). They all said they knew exactly what it was, snaked various pipes, charged us their fee…..and yet it is still coming. A friend who has been restoring her home said it must be a leak in the “stack”. What the heck it that?

Any information on this or advice would be GREATLY appreciated. I think my poor fiance is about ready to strangle the next service guy that I call. ;-D

Not sure about the instances posted about Appliance Zone, I have bought four or five parts from that company and not had a problem.

I perfectly decide the most minuscule costs shipping and on two occasions received my aspects the next day. They seem to be a good operation.

I eminent that all the chat operators seem to have American names so I highly cynicism that they have their bargain hunter service sent oversees to India or Pakistan as so many extra companies do.

I also see they have their own race car so I don’t see how this company may be a scam as a person above mentioned.

I’ve heard many folks talk badly about this appliancezone.com and I have had none of this at all.

foy_d asked:

What is the average life of a new compressor installed using the sweep charge method on refrigerators?

List pro’s and con’s to using a sweep charge.

What is required to do a sweep charge properly?

What do trade schools teach students is the proper method?

In what conditions should you never use a sweep charge?

Do you as a technician recommend “sweep charge” over system evacuation?

Which manufacturers use sweep charge for warranty service?

What method would you use on your own refrigerator?

Additonal Comments welcome.

When purchasing a home with an FHA loan, is the seller required to use a HVAC certified tech to repair heaters?

Sunshine asked:

When purchasing a home with an FHA loan, is the seller required to use a HVAC certified tech to repair heaters? We recently purchased a home and went FHA with our loan. We have recently run into problems with the oil boiler that the seller was supposed to have had fully serviced before we moved in. I’m trying to find the best way to go about getting this unit replaced or properly repaired without taking from my own pocket. We’ve had several techs look at it and agree that it’s been leaking for quite some time. We just moved in the house in June. We did purchase a home warranty but that seems to be a joke as they will only cover $1500 of the cost to replace the boiler, we’d be responsible for paying the additional $5883!!!

(Please don’t tell me that I should convert…that seems to be what everyone wants to tell me. But that is not the issue right now.) Thanks for any help!!

Surprised about the controversies posted about Appliance Zone, I have four or five times from that company and never had a problem.

I perfectly choose the lowest possible charges carrying and on two occasions received my parts the next day. They seem to be a good operation.

I noted that all the chat operators seem to have American names so I richly doubt that they have their customer service sent oversees to India or Pakistan as so many more companies do.

I also see they have their own race car so I don’t see how this party can be a scam as a person abovementioned mentioned.
